“When choosing a display for my Grandma’s funeral it was hard to consider what she would have liked and choose something that I liked too. Our choices in flowers were different in everyway. I wanted to reflect who she was, with her favourite vibrant colours - but I couldn’t imagine that it would be my taste. She loved corals, orange and vibrant yellows - how could Kirsty interpret that into something I liked? I shouldn’t have worried - the flowers Kirsty designed that dressed the full length of the coffin were absolutely breathtaking. She had chosen beautiful blooms and cleverly layered a very free, beautifully unstructured design that was stunning.
They befit the occasion and my Grandma perfectly - that’s why Kirsty does this.
After Kirsty used Mimosa in my Grandma’s flowers it became my favourite flower. Kirsty even ordered me a small bunch on the anniversary of her funeral which was really wonderful of her. ”
